Representative and First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Guatemala  in the United Nations (UN), New York City, USA (1994-1995).  Legal Counsel to UNESCO 2001, 2002, 2003. Former Consul of the Guatemalan Embassy in Paris, France and Rome, Italy. Member: Guatemalan Bar Association.
